The Clinton Global Initiative University (CGI U) supports college students across the world who have committed to take action and tackle pressing challenges.
In 13 years, CGI U has engaged over 10,000+ students supporting over 7,000 commitments across 150 counties. Hundreds of Sun Devils participated in this global network, advancing individual and team projects with a focus ranging from education to environmental issues to public health.
The application deadline for CGI U 2021 is Friday, January 29 at 11:59pm ET.

All students apply to CGI U with a Commitment to Action—a new, specific and measurable initiative that addresses a pressing challenge within one of CGI U’s focus areas:
- Education
- Environment and climate change
- Peace and human rights
- Poverty alleviation
- Public health
What happens when you are accepted into CGI U?
- Participate in a social impact curriculum
- Assigned to a mentor in your project’s topic area
- Access to funding to support the development of your project
- Invitation to events, including the 13th annual CGI U virtual meeting in partnership with Howard University
- Connect with Clinton Foundation topic experts, including President Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton
