Create something under the guidance of a working artist while learning about their practice from both an artistic and an entrepreneurial perspective. On the third Thursday of each month, Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute will invite local artists and creators to share their skills in a drop in style workshop, with the goal of fostering conversation while working with our hands.
In January, we are excited to welcome Robert Jewett as our featured artist. Robert is an award-winning commercial photographer featured monthly in several international publications as well as multiple books in the United States.
After graduating with his MBA in 2003, he opened a consulting firm, specializing helping businesses manage the complexities of project management. Unable to find a photographer able to meet the demands of his marketing clients, he began making images himself. Eventually, this aspect of the enterprise began to garner international attention, and he eventually shot for Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, Guess, Land Rover, Jaguar, Chopard, Panerai and many others.
