ASU, Phoenix seeking companies for incubator program to minimize waste

The deadline has been extended to May 11 for startups to apply for an incubator program that will help Phoenix, Arizona and the southwest region minimize waste.

The goal is to divert materials from landfills, and companies are needed to come up with ideas, or provide their products to create this “circular economy,” said Jason Franz, an ASU spokesman for Rob and Melani Walton Sustainability Solutions Initiatives on the Tempe campus.
