SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center, offers local entrepreneurs a collaborative space for their ideas and innovation to thrive.

Named for the year Scottsdale was incorporated, 1951@Skysong is a co-working space that combines 1950s décor with the latest collaboration and communication technologies. The resulting vibrant atmosphere is infused with the daring visions of the past while equipped to advance today’s entrepreneurial innovation.

Located at SkySong, the ASU Scottsdale Innovation Center, 1951@SkySong offers ASU faculty, staff, students and ventures a collaborative space for their ideas and innovation to thrive. Named for the year Scottsdale was incorporated, 1951@SkySong is an event and collaborative workspace that combines 1950s décor with the latest collaboration opportunities. The resulting premise combines historical influence with a forward-thinking, innovative atmosphere.

The space showcases Americana on loan from the collection of Scottsdale real estate entrepreneur, Michael Pollack. It includes a Bob’s Big Boy statue, an ASU Devil neon sign, a rocket-shaped gumball machine, a Marilyn Monroe neon sign and Wurlitzer jukeboxes, among other collectibles.

Reservation priority is given to events supporting entrepreneurial initiatives.

This space is best suited for

  • Entrepreneurs looking for a semi-private workspace with opportunities for collaboration and mentorship.

Access the co-working space

The 1951@SkySong co-working is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A staff member is onsite Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to answer questions. 


Reservations are not required, but you must request access to use the space. Priority is given to entrepreneurship programs; members of the ASU Venture Devils program; ASU students, staff and faculty; and partners at SkySong.

Reserve event space

If you’d like to host an event or meeting at 1951@SkySong, two spaces are available for advance reservation: a 12-person conference room and a 150-person event space.
