If you have started a business you will need to set up your business officially and track how you receive and spend money. If you won money through Demo Days or another incubator, you might even need to pay taxes. Accounting is one of the requirements for planning and monitoring your money, but how do you know what to do?

In this workshop, we will provide an overview of what you need to know about accounting to be a successful entrepreneur. Tax time has already started, so we will walk you through some basic forms like w9 and 1099-misc. We’ll also highlight the importance of record-keeping and explain some of the accounting systems out there. And we’ll teach you about financial statements and budgets so you can answer key questions from investors, partners and future Demo Day panelists.

We use an interactive approach with real-life exercises to teach you key concepts and help you learn to love your accounting! Sign up to work with an experienced accountant and get your accounting questions answered!
