While there is no shortage of health-related problems in 2020, thinking entrepreneurially can shift your mindset to see these problems as opportunities for solutions. Join Rick Hall, Sr. Director of Health Innovation at ASU, to explore the three pillars of design thinking and learn techniques to ideate, test, and refine your idea to improve health care.

Rick Hall is a clinical professor and senior director in the Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation at Arizona State University, where he teaches coursework on health entrepreneurship and innovation methodology. His appointment includes administration of the Masters in Healthcare Innovation and Bachelors of Science in Health Entrepreneurship and Innovation degrees. He is the director of the Executive Fellowship in Innovation Health Leadership, the Health Entrepreneurship Accelerator Lab (HEALab), and the Mayo Clinic ASU MedTech Accelerator.

Healthcare Innovation and Entrepreneurship Workshop 08/07/2020 - 2:00pm to 08/08/2020 - 12:00pm Online

Do you have an idea to improve health or the delivery of healthcare?

The Health Entrepreneurship Accelerator Lab (HEALab) at Arizona State University, along with our partners at Coplex and Maricopa County Medical Society, can help! This two-day, interactive virtual workshop is focused on providing existing healthcare practitioners with entrepreneurial aspirations the information and resources necessary to turn their ideas into reality. Join us to learn how to identify problems and ideate solutions, develop a business model, navigate legal issues and launch your venture.

The event will be eligible for continuing health education credits.

Dates and Times:
Friday, August 7th: 2 - 6 p.m.
Saturday, August 8th: 8 a.m. - 12 p.m.
