The Health Entrepreneurship Accelerator Lab (HEALab) and the Health Entrepreneurship and Innovation Club are excited to welcome Adam Bell to Arizona State University.
This presentation will explore biomimicry, a revelatory, yet sustainable, nature-based innovation methodology. We will survey the three pillars of biomimicry with a focus on the emulation of nature's strategies emphasizing a healthcare context.
Adam Bell spent twenty years at the clinical bedside as a critical care certified paramedic and dual- certified transplant coordinator in settings including the ER, EMS, ICU, and surgery. A former member of the Cleveland Clinic Lung Transplant Team, and a seasoned clinical consultant, he has developed educational materials for transplant centers and organ procurement organizations, trained new staff, led successful lung recruitment initiatives, and presented on diverse subjects at multiple national annual meetings of the North American Transplant Coordinators Association. He is a recent graduate of ASU’s Master of Science in Biomimicry program.
