Hacks for Humanity: Hacking for the Social Good–hosted by Project Humanities at Arizona State University (ASU) is a global, virtual 36-hour entrepreneurial marathon that challenges participants to create technical solutions for the social good.

Unlike many hacking events, Hacks for Humanity encourages participants from a wide skillset—even those who have no “hacking” experience. We invite activists and artists, entrepreneurs and educators, scientists and social workers, along with each and every person in between. When these diverse perspectives come together, innovation is the exciting result.

October 8, 9, 10 2021 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). $11,000 worth of cash prizes.

Explore what is happening across the Valley by listening to local founders share their ideas in a friendly 6-minute pitch format with 20 minutes of questions. These events are led by the local community and welcome everyone including students, nonprofit and business leaders, artists, and resource providers. Pitch In is supported by the J. Orin Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute. 

In Spring and Summer 2021, the West Valley, East Valley and Central Phoenix communities will be working together to jointly showcase the diversity of our community and serve as a welcome mat for everyone interested in entrepreneurship in the Metro Valley area.
