At Arizona State University, we believe entrepreneurship and innovation is not just about starting companies. It’s a mindset and a skill set that defines individuals. It allows them to identify opportunities and challenges around them, and empowers them to address those opportunities and challenges to make a difference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So imagine the sheer joy that all 83,000+ of us at ASU felt when the university was named the top innovative university in the nation by U.S. News and World Report college rankings for 2016, a new category for the ranking agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ASU was named #1 through a survey of peers. University presidents, provosts and deans nominated colleges and universities across the nation that are transforming higher education through radical improvements in curriculum, faculty, students, campus life, technology or institutional facilities. We beat Stanford and MIT!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
