Just on Thursday alone, there were three\u00a0reported incidents.\u00a0One turned to be fatal.\r\n\r\nDrowning is the second leading cause of death in children under 15 years old, and that’s why one Valley man decided to create a smart lock for pool gates.\r\n\r\nIt all began with a\u00a0tragic story that pushed Kevin Hale and his business partner to figure out a way to make pools safer.\r\n

He figured how to open up the back door. The pool gate had been left open by the landscapers that morning, and he tragically went into\u00a0the pool and drowned.”\r\n
