Matt's passion is music. Through ASU Edson Student Entrepreneurship Initiative (Edson), he found a way to explore the idea of taking his passion and turning it into a real business venture. Edson funded the startup of Matt's new business venture, emusicinstruction, which now connects his passion to people from around the world who love music.

emusicinstruction.com provides live, private music lessons over the Internet. Founder Matt McGraw, ASU doctoral candidate in musical arts, received $15,000 from the Edson Student Entrepreneur Initiative to create a logo, brand, website and to hire 11 music instructors. Matt has created an enterprise by seeing an opportunity to use technology in a different way, bringing musical instruction to areas that may not have strong resources for students interested in music . Matt aims to build the company to 5000 student in the next 5 years.
