Entrepreneurship at ASU supports opportunities for creative enterprise both in the for profit and not for profit arenas. Courtney Klein is a graduate student from ASU's Nonprofit Studies in the College of Public Programs. Her vision is to create a more just, equitable, and sustainable world by building a movement of young people who take action to help solve the largest challenges faced by communities around the world. "Young people are entering society with the realization that they are capable of creating change and are taking action to impact our time's most pressing problems", says Courtney. The connectivity and support provided by
ASU Edson Student Entrepreneur Initiative was instrumental in the launch of
New Global Citizens, (formerly Youth Re: Action Corps.) a nonprofit organization which educates, equips and mobilizes young people to help solve the greatest challenges faced by communities around the world by partnering with grassroots organizations that are finding local solutions to local problems. New Global Citizens supports these young leaders as they work to create sustainable change.
