The Venture Catalyst at ASU provides a suite of venture acceleration services that are designed to help ventures, in all stages of development, grow and succeed. Some of these services include:

Startup Assessments

Students, faculty and ASU-affiliated entrepreneurs interested in speaking with a professional about making their ideas happen can complete an assessment. Based on information provided in the assessment, Venture Catalyst professionals create a customized roadmap to help entrepreneurs reach their goals.

The Mentoring Marketplace

The Mentoring Marketplace is designed to provide students with an opportunity to search a database of knowledgeable entrepreneurs and professionals who are willing to mentor students.

Students
Please note that in the Mentoring Marketplace students are referred to as "entrepreneurs" and mentors as "mentors." You are allowed to contact any mentor listed in the Marketplace; however, some mentors will specify if they are only interested in mentoring students in particular areas or programs.

To apply to join the Mentoring Marketplace, please email Jessica.Groeneveld@asu.edu. After your application is approved, you will receive an email with further instructions for uploading your profile into the system.

Mentors
The Mentoring Marketplace also welcomes mentors. Mentors will be asked to include their contact and brief biographical information. Students will be able to search the online Marketplace for potential mentors they feel would be a good fit and will contact mentors using the contact information provided in the mentor’s profile. Please note that in the Mentoring Marketplace students are referred to as "entrepreneurs" and mentors as "mentors."

Workshops & Office Hours

The Venture Catalyst provides a multitude of workshops as well as office hours for students, faculty, staff and entrepreneurs from the community who would like to enhance their entrepreneurship skills, connect with angel investors or speak with a professional about their ideas.
