Expert Network

ASU student entrepreneurs are building and running businesses, working to commercialize next-generation technologies, and using entrepreneurship as a means to solve local and global challenges.   

The tremendous increase in student entrepreneurship at ASU – supported by programs like the Innovation Challenge and Edson Student Entrepreneur Initiative – has created a demand for experienced entrepreneurs who can help students tackle the challenges involved in launching a venture and raising capital

The Expert Network

Our network of experts include experienced entrepreneurs, business leaders and nonprofit executives who provide expert assistance with planned or established ventures.  The Expert Network at ASU pulls together a select group of entrepreneurs and industry experts who augment the existing on-campus entrepreneurship programs by providing program leaders with additional expertise and resources to serve ASU students.

Experts will support students participating in extant ASU programs, including the Edson Student Entrepreneur Initiative, the Venture Catalyst, the Mentoring Marketplace, and the ASU Innovation Challenge, among others, in addition to interacting with students in ASU’s 90+ entrepreneurship classes.

Experts may provide support in one or more of the following areas:  idea creation and validation, customer development and discovery, team building, startup and patent law, monetization strategy, marketing, fundraising and strategic partnerships. Experts may partake in one or more of the following roles: mentors/advisors, brown bag lecture participants, judges for university funding competitions, guest lecturers, and guests of honor at university events.
