Jake Pinholster, Director, Herberger Institute of Theatre & Film

Jake Pinholster, the Director of The Herberger Institute School of Theatre and Film (starting July 1), received his BFA and MFA in Theatrical Design from the University of Florida in 2000 and 2003, respectively. In 2005, he was hired by ASU to develop curricula in media design, animation, editing and compositing as well as strengthen the graduate programs. His company, Mental Image, Inc.

Winslow Burleson received his Ph.D from the MIT Media Lab, Affective Computing Group. He joined the ASU Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Arts, Media and Engineering graduate program in 2006. At MIT he was involved with the Context-Aware Computing Group and the Entrepreneurial Management Unit at the Harvard Business School.

Mike Mader  holds a bachelor's in English as well as a master’s in Higher Education Administration. He works closely and collaboratively across colleges, school and departments to improve the student experience. In the past, Mader has held positions in international student services, study abroad programs, university housing and more.

Sidnee Peck earned her BA in accounting from the University of New Mexico in 2004 and worked as an auditor and a senior property accountant following. She earned her MBA from the W. P. Carey School of Business in 2009, specializing in Supply Chain Management with an emphasis in leadership and negotiations.

Retha Hill is the director of the New Media Innovation Lab at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication, as well as a professor of practice who teaches upper-division and capstone courses.

CJ Cornell is Professor of Digital Media & Entrepreneurship at Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication, and the first Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the school's Knight Center for Digital Media Entrepreneurship.
