Venture Funding & Entrepreneurial Work Experience

ASU undergraduate and graduate students participate in hands-on projects and receive not only mentorship, but resources to develop their vision and realize their venture. Through programs such as the Entrepreneur Advantage Program, Edson Student Entrepreneur Initiative, and the Performing Arts Venture Experience, ASU students of all disciplines can receive mentoring, funds, and incubation space for their ventures.

Start an entrepreneurial project with ASU funding opportunities

The Entrepreneur Advantage Project provides students the opportunity to secure funding for new products, services, ventures or even art exhibits. Grants of $2,000 are made to students to seed both for-profit and non-profit entrepreneurial activities.

The Edson Student Entrepreneur Initiative is one of the broadest student entrepreneur programs in the country. Edson helps students across the university to transform their innovative ideas into ventures. Grants of up to $20,000 are made to students to seed both for-profit and non-profit startups. Grant recipients also receive office space and mentoring. For more information contact Scott Perkofski, Program Manager, Edson Student Entrepreneur Initiative: (480) 884-1848 or email Scott.perkofski@asu.edu.

The Performing Arts Venture Experience (p.a.v.e.) "paves" the way to the future of the arts by investing in student innovation and creativity, supporting arts entrepreneurship education and undertaking entrepreneurial activities. Companies get the benefit of highly motivated and entrepreneurially-minded ASU students to help with ventures and projects, while the companies get connected to the cutting-edge knowledge being generated by Arizona State University's four campuses. For more information contact SDEN at SDENinfo@asu.edu.
