A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to hear Kris Ewing deliver a five-minute power talk about Jane Fonda’s workout videos. Dr. Ewing is an associate clinical professor and the coordinator for the Higher and Postsecondary Education Program in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College.

Enrolled in the Annapolis Naval Academy, one of his jobs was trying to scrape it off the bottom of the boats each day.

“I failed miserably,” he says. “And I just fell in love with this little guy who could just beat my brain.”
