Our Story: Fertile Soil for Sustainable Entrepreneurship at ASU

Raúl Gonzalez and Marco Ugarte, with advisor Dr. Roberto Gaxiola, recently won the Southwest Regional Competition of the 2010 Walmart Better Living Business Plan Challenge. The ASU team presented their new venture idea, Agavenol, at Claremont University. Their plan is to partner with Arizona Indian reservations to grow agave and turn it into ethanol.
