Edson Team Featured on Horizon 8

Brent Sebold, Program Manager for the Edson Student Entrepreneur Initiative, and Gabrielle Palermo and Susano Young, two ASU student founders of G3Box, a company that turns steel freight containers into mobile medical clinics, were recently interviewed on the PBS 8 primetime news show Horizon 8.

I think the idea of using shipping containers is awesome, I commend the team for offering a solution to remote communities who need this facility. Wel done.

We love to hear about people reusing or "upcycling" materials into something of greater purpose - and you guys have come up with a fantastic idea for shipping containers. In Australia we have heard of a problem that some formaldehyde can linger inside the container from when they were fumigated in their former life. Do you get rid of this before it becomes a medical clinic?

Were we watching the aforementioned video? Complete restructuring of a classroom, apprentice chic adjustment based on ability/interest, collaborative technology use and appraisal rather than assorted best and worksheet? As cursing as the abstraction is to people, if kids acquisition apprenticeship added fun, they are added motivated, and appropriately they are added apt to learn.
