Sidnee Peck, Director, Entrepreneurship Initiatives in the WP Carey School of Business, listens on as her students engage in conversation about ideas to launch a venture.

Sidnee Peck is the director of entrepreneurial initiatives for the W. P. Carey School of Business and is an entrepreneur, educator, and advocate for Arizona entrepreneurship. She teaches entrepreneurship to students of all areas of study who want to explore the path.  Her initiatives include an interdisciplinary certificate in Knowledge Entrepreneurship and Innovation and a set of senior and grad level courses in customer development and financing; all of which have been designed to enable all students of any passion, interest, or skill set to explore entrepreneurship in their own lives.  Sidnee has been trained by Steve Blank in Lean LaunchPad methodology and mentors and consults for young startup companies in the customer development and lean spaces.

Sidnee also serves as the business faculty for a product development course in the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts called InnovationSpace; supporting students through the ideation and product development processes.

She is a graduate of the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management with a Bachelor of Accounting and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Arizona State University’s W. P. Carey School of Business.  In 2009 she became a partner in the technology-based signature verification startup, Alaris, Inc. prior to returning to ASU to teach.
